After finishing off our to-do list, the team is on the way to FSG2012! First stop…Dover, hopefully the convoy wont get lost!
We’re back in Uxbridge now with the remnants of the car. Unfortunately yesterday we weren’t able to do much running and ended up with a broken front-right wishbone. We’re going to need to fix it, and get the engine mapped properly before Germany in two weeks’ time. Congratulations to Chalmers University Sweden for outright victory!
Passed the brake test on second run, achieved a time of 5.182 seconds on the 75m sprint - off to the skid pan!
Completed our first Sprint run for a time of 1:10 minutes, slow due to running wet instead of dry tyres. Tempers beginning to flare in the workshop.
Here’s a short video showing our rear suspension working after the mammoth effort over the last weekend!
Many thanks to Zircotec (www.zircotec.com) for coating our exhaust with fantastic ceramic coating. Also, thanks to Edwards Motorsport for turning the exhaust around so quickly!
Many thanks to Aurok for dyno testing and servicing our dampers for use on BR-13 today.
